Since designing my own line of paper, I have spent a considerably less amount of time on my favorite paper websites such as Paper Mojo and Paper Source. I used to be able to easily spend an hour searching through Paper Mojo's extensive selection of handmade decorative papers, dreaming up fantasy custom frames. I'd be able to spot out a new design on the paper racks at Paper Source in an instant. (Yes, I'm a little paper crazy.)
This past year, I had the pleasure of making several custom frames for some awesome clients of mine. I know that decorative picture frames aren't for everyone, but every now and then I will get a customer who LOVES them and those are my FAVORITES! These are the ones who will buy a new art print and immediately wonder what kind of crazy papers I could come up with to make that print shine. They kind of just give me a green light to go wander around my dream libraries and choose what I thought looked great.
